May
4th: SIOUXperman Triathlon.  Consists of a 300 yd swim, 25k bike ride, and a 5k run. Starts at the All Seasons Center in Sioux Center. Registration for both teams and individuals is open here. Limited to 300 entrants.

25th & 26th: 2Rivers Ride. Runs from Gayville, SD to Niobrara, NE (64 miles) and back. Full support and luggage transportation is provided. Registration is $40 at 2riversride.net until May 15. Same day registration is available for $60. A portion of proceeds go to Survivelt, a local cancer support group.

June
8th: Tri State Trails Ride. 9:00am start. Registration is 8-9 day of. All rides leave from Tyson Events Center in Sioux City.
 A family friendly ride promoting the extensive trails system in and around Sioux City.  Highlights include a ride around Crystal Cove Lake in South Sioux City, a ride to and thru Adams Homestead and the Nature Preserve at McCook Lake in SD. Breakfast will be available at the nearby Farmer's market.

14th: Harlan's Blast: A four day, three night tour, starting and ending in Sioux Falls. Will go to Luverne, MN, Pipestone, MN, and Dell Rapids, SD before returning to Sioux Falls. Participants can either ride blacktop or gravel. Blacktop will be about 60 miles per day, gravel around 40. Cost is $135, registration is now open here and runs through June 1.

22nd:  Tour De Plymouth. Hosted by the Plymouth County cyclists, participants have the option of 25, 60, or 100 mile routes. All routes leave from Bike Central in LeMars. Cost is $20 if you pre-register here or $25 on the day of the ride. There is also a family ride option, $5 per person. Please note that the 25 and 60 mile rides leave at 8am, the 100 mile leaves at 7:30.

22-29: GRABAAWR: This tour crosses Wisconsin from North to South, roughly following the course of the Wisconsin river. Average day is around 70 miles. Register here.

July

13-19: Bike Northwoods: A loop style route, starting and ending in Iron River, in NW Wisconson. Runs along Lake Superior. Average day is around 50 to 60 miles. Register here.

August

3-9: SAGBRAW: Starts in NE Wisconson and runs along the coast of Lake Michagan, ending just north of Milwaukee. More information and registration is here.

September
28th: Okaboji Oktoberfest Ride: 27 mile scenic ride around Lake Okaboji. Plenty of food and drink on a relaxing course. Registration is here.
